Usb mp3 players are the most common type of mp3 players around. By using this standard connection, you can connect your Usb mp3 player to virtually any PC, Mac, or laptop out there.
Although you can easily find mp3 players using different storage media (as the CD mp3 players), you'll probably prefer a flash mp3 player. It's smaller, has no moving parts, and you can use it as an USB flash disk for easy transfer of whatever files you want (including but not limited to mp3 music). It makes simple usb mp3 players attractive doesn't it?
On the other hand, if you're going for a large capacity mp3 player (say 512Mb or 1Gb), you better choose a player with a USB 2.0 interface. It's faster than the older USB models, and you'll appreciate it when you're waiting to transfer the songs from your PC to the mp3 player. But don't worry; most new models are USB 2.0.
